There are a couple of ways to accomplish this. If you are controlling, just record it, then speed it up using some sort of editing software (such as Sony Vegas, or similar). If you are not controlling for the event, you
could login as an observer, then like the last option, record it and speed it up.
That's the best way I could think of doing this. Alternately if you are controlling and zoom in, or whatever else you could open up another window (like in VRC) and just open up the sector, and have your recording software only record that specific window.
