If any of you were wondering about the iFly 737NG, and how it may compare to the PMDG.  Well, I can't honestly compare it to the PMDG... why??   Because PMDG STILL  has not released theirs.  What I can tell you is that the iFly 737NG for FSX is in my opinion, THE BEST addon aircraft to date for FSX.  You get ALL models of the 737, from the 600 to the 900, including the BBJ's.

I know, i've been waiting for the release of the PMDG for months and months and it seems to just drag on.  It looks like it will be an awesome plane but after looking at the ifly the other day it almost doesn't seem worth waiting any longer lol.

I use the IFly for FS9 and the only model I've seen that might beat it is the ARIANE, but thats designed for professional sims.

Ifly is now my favorite. I have found only a single weakness at that will be fixed.  The HUD is not colimated but over all, this is the best for me.  VNAV handles the most complex STAR's and SID' perfectly.

for iFly users there is a fuel planner out there that is amazingly accurate.  I regularly land with about 8k lbs of fuel.  Enough to get me to my alternate and 45min IFR reserve as per the FAR/AIM

That's a universal fuel planner.  As long as the developer used the same (or similar) fuel metrics as the real aircraft would be using (or uses), it's going to be close.  iFly has nothing to do with the planner.  Good resource for those using any 737, though (works well for the old Wilco 737 as well).

I've only had one problem with the iFly and I bet it's plot error. XD

Does anyone know why the FMC won't calculate T/D?? I'm serious, nothing else is wrong, it just doesn't calculate descents. It only calculated the desc maybe once.

When you finish the FMC setup does it say complete?  If you miss a step or have an incomplete F/P it will say something else to point you in the right direction.
