Becoming ATC for VATUSA

Hello:
I would like to begin the process of becoming ATC for KSDF. I clicked on the "Start the Process" link on the Vatusa home page and entered my Vatsim pilot ID number and password. I was rejected with all red letters stating that I am not a controller, which I realize. There seems to be some interchange between pilot and controller credentials. Is there a separate Id and password for logging in as a controller? Thanks.

Which link did you press, the Become an ATC link or the Rejoin link? You started the join process in 2010, but did not complete it. Try the rejoin link. If that does not work, open a support ticket and we'll have Data Services look into the scripts again.

Thanks for your reply. I have submitted a ticket per your instruction. It doesn't matter if I click "Join" or "Rejoin/Transfer", the system will not allow me access.

Thanks. I'll get our webmaster on it. In the meantime, I'll assign you the Basic ATC exam to get you started.
