So I was bored over my lunch break and decided to browse through some of AOPA's online courses. One dealt with the topic title, so I decided to give it a whirl. I learned a couple finer details here and there, but I also learned that they quickly ran out of possible answers to some of their questions. For example:

Wait a minute....there's no option for the " please repeat via text" answer?????  As in, "I don't have a clue what the controller just told me so I'm going to fake a radio problem and ask that it be given over text instead" scenario.

Funny you say that Ken. There were many times after I was on VATSIM that I was flying RW and the controller kept getting stepped on, or the frequency was so busy I couldn't break in, and I remember fervently wishing I could revert to text.

And Brad, I never used [D], but again there were times I sure wished I could.
