ZDV is Accepting Applications for Event Coordinator

JOB SUMMARY

- Reports to the ARTCC ATM
- Promotes and manages ZDV-sponsored events
- Coordinates with neighboring ARTCCs to arrange support for ZDV-hosted events and arrange ZDV support for neighboring events.
- Maintains relationships with virtual airlines and coordinates support for VA-hosted events affecting the ZDV airspace.
- Organizes and manages staffing for all events.
- Develops marketing material to promote events and distributes them accordingly
- Identifies opportunities to promote ZDV by creating and managing new events.
- Participates as an active controller at ZDV-sponsored events.
- Tracks participation and activity levels of pilots and controllers at events.
- Periodically meets with staff to report on progress and participation levels at events.
- Additional duties, responsibilities, or tasks as assigned by Senior Staff

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Must hold rating of S3 or higher
- Must be an active member of the network in good standing with no recent disciplinary action.
- Must have excellent written and oral communication skills
- Must be able to effectively cooperate in a team environment
- Must be able to work independently when required

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Possess a high degree of commitment and motivation
- Experience in Graphic/Banner Design or related
- Experience working with Photoshop or other similar software
- Knowledge of graphic design principles.
