​It's Time for STAFF IT UP SUNDAYYYYYY!!! This event will occur weekly on Sunday in the ZJX ARTCC from now until December 13th. This week’s selected airport is KPNS (Pensacola International Airport). Pensacola, Located in the middle of the Florida pan handle, is home to beautiful white sandy beaches and a lively fishing economy.
 

This week we will be joined by the Miami ARTCC to partake in a crossfire between Pensacola and Tampa with staffing from Delivery to Center!
 

We hope that you will join us Sunday, October 18th, from 2300-0200z (1900-2200 EST for those of us to lazy to add 4 hours) for a fantastic time in the air and on the ground as we show the network what kind of skilled controllers ZJX and ZMA have to offer.

Wonderful that Pensacola will be focused!  Although there is a bit of a fishing economy, for example, the amazing Joe Patties fleet, the major work of Pensacola is the support of Naval Aviation, with Whiting Field to the northeast of KPNS and Naval Air Station Pensacola, home of the Blue Angels, to the southwest of KPNS.
