Hello all -- VATSTAR is seeking experienced, knowledgeable, and personable simulator pilots to join its staff of Instructors. Their core duty is to provide classroom and in-flight guidance to members. Selected applicants must maintain at least three 2hr blocks available per week, and check the status of each one 24-48 hours before its start time. They must document all student interaction, and provide feedback to the CFI on students, written lessons, and exams. Minimum qualifications include at least 1 year on the VATSIM network with at least 150 flight hours, preferably in a blend of commercial and GA aircraft. Applicants must possess VATSIM pilot ratings P1 and P2; preferential consideration will be given to holders of P3, P4, and/or P5. Additional preferential consideration will be granted toward candidates with real-world flight experience, VATSIM ATC experience, prior involvement with a Virtual Airline or other Virtual Flight Simulation organization, and/or experience in a teaching environment (formal or informal).
