I'm very pleased to announce VATUSA's newest Training Director. This man needs no introduction, really, as he has been a critical part in VATUSA's success for many years. That said, please join me in welcoming Mark Hubbert as the newest Division Training Director, VATUSA3. Mark has most recently served as the Western Regional Air Traffic Director for the last 3.5 years, and served as the Memphis ARTCC (ZME) Air Traffic Manager prior to that. Mark shares the Division's vision to update and improve our training materials, increase training bandwidth, improve retention and spur growth. I look forward to working with Mark in this new capacity, and ask every member in the Division to stand by ready to help Mark in his endeavors. It will take many talented, capable volunteers to help us get our material updated and take care of the latest capability and technology in order to bring a revolutionary increase in training material effectiveness.
I'd like to again thank Ryan Geckler for serving as our Training Director, doing a fantastic job, and sticking with it longer than planned until we could bring Mark onboard in his new role.
Here's to looking forward to great things!
