Still observer after completing exam?

I have gone through all of the powerpoints, passed the exam, and chosen Jacksonville ARTCC, and the website still shows me as an observer. Is there a delay between the completion of the exam and being appointed to S1?

Your initial Basic ATC quiz was to allow you into the ATC training program.  S1, S2, S3, etc. are all student certifications that you must earn after additional training, written exams, and practical exam, all administered by your facility per the facility's training process.

Hi Logan, I've added you to our site. As Don quite rightly said, our instructional team will assign you the exams to upgrade your rating once you have been successfully trained on the positions required. All should have been explained in the welcome email you received when I processed your initial selection. However, if it was not, jump onto teamspeak, or visit our forums and we'd be glad to help!
