3 TRACONs, 3 Fields, and hopefully some great VFR Weather. Come join ZHU as we staff up Louisiana in Louisiana Local. On November 25th from 1900-2300 CST, our controllers will have Polk Approach (KAEX), Lake Charles Approach (KLCH), and Baton Rouge Approach (KBTR) staffed up for your flying plesaure. IFR and VFR traffic welcome.

Nick, thanks for your response.

We had a tough time staffing the event due to the proximity to the holiday as well as real life obligations of some of our controllers myself included. We did try to make every effort to reach an level of staffing that was acceptable. Sometimes this proves to be a tough task. I personally apologize if we had any negative impact on your experience with the network. We will do better in the future!

It happens Ian.  I was personally affected as the approach and tower controllers both logged off about 45min into the event, or shuffled around to a more demanding sector.  However, there are no hard feelings on my end, and I am sure that the organization did the best it could for the most it could, and that's what makes an event successful in the end.  Take care.
