Description:New York ARTCC is seeking skilled and reliable individuals with software programming experience to design, develop, and test a cutting-edge Windows based traffic management application for real-time use on the VATSIM network.
Proficient C / C++ / C# development skills on Windows with experience in multithreaded socket and STL programming, and network experience is preferred.
Desired Candidate Profile:- C++ developer
- Confident with STL and multithreaded socket programming
- Working knowledge of data models / ER diagrams
- Ability to create data flow diagrams
- Proficient knowledge of aviation/air traffic control
- Experience working with the VATSIM network and understanding of the VATSIM Data Server setup
- Reliable and easy to work with
- Proficient in mathematics
- English proficient
