Events / [06/07/2025] LIVE from New York, it's Saturday Ops!
« Last post by Daniel Sirota on March 30, 2025, 10:44:46 AM »

It's the premier New York event of the year, and everyone is invited!! You heard it here first: We are going all in and will be bringing you 7 hours of continuous coverage LIVE from New York City! Don’t mind the strange background noise when you are on our frequencies. Noises may include our printers on fire because there are too many flight strips, hoots and hollers because a conflict alert is going off, or Center trying to talk after eating too many cinnamon buns.

All major ZNY fields will be staffed, so fly in, out, and around for a fantastic time in the Northeast. Whether you want to be a New Jersey DEVIL, a New York YNKEE, or just enjoy a classic NTHNS hot dog, we promise you this is an event you do not want to miss!

Event Fields: KEWR, KLGA, KJFK, KPHL
Date and Time: June 7th, 2025, 10am → 5pm Eastern (1400z - 2100z)

Events / [04/26/2025] Cross the Pond: Westbound 2025
« Last post by Vi Jackson on March 29, 2025, 11:33:11 AM »

We are pleased to announce the return of Cross the Pond, this time for a westbound journey, taking off on April 26th, 2025.

Cross The Pond is the largest and longest-running event on VATSIM. Twice a year, aircraft soar between the two sides of the Atlantic Ocean - Westbound in the spring and Eastbound in the autumn. Thousands of pilots light up the virtual skies, and dozens of controllers burn both ends of the candle to provide professional ATC service over the Ocean and the Continents.

Our teams of volunteers are already working in the background for this next edition, so please follow along on Discord (https://ctp.vatsim.net/discord) or the forum thread (https://forum.vatsim.net/t/26th-april-2025-cross-the-pond-westbound-discussion-thread/8090).
