In the classic 1989 film Field of Dreams, Ray Kinsella (Kevin Costner) is inspired by a vision to build a baseball field in his cornfield and summons the spirits of baseball legends of eras past. The real life Field of Dreams is located just outside Dubuque, Iowa and it happens to be located in ZAU airspace. A much younger tradition than our national pastime, our classic Iowa event is back for its third year! With that same faith, the controllers of ZAU and ZMP will staff up fields across Iowa, and we hope to summon pilots to come fly in!

As The Masters tees off today in Augusta, join vZTL as we celebrate the most prestigious golf tournament that has been a yearly occurrence since 1934. In order to facilitate the exponential demand in business jet traffic, temporary towers are put in place to alleviate the traffic load placed on AGS. Enjoy temporary staffing at DNL and AIK as they open to help offload traffic levels from Augusta. From props to jets, bring your general aviation aircraft to have a great time with joining The Masters Above Augusta!

Boston Virtual ARTCC invites you to join us on Saturday, April 4th, from 7:00 PM to 11:00 PM Eastern Time (2300–0300 UTC).

After five honk-tastic adventures parodying blockbuster movie titles with our favorite aggressive Canadian goose, the bird is back and drama has landed in New England airspace. This time, it's HONK VI: The Real Housewives of Boston Approach — where the skies are filled with more shade, side-eyes, and "You cannot sit with us" vibes than a Logan International arrival rush.

This event will feature full staffing of Boston Consolidated TRACON (A90) airspace, providing pilots with realistic operations across the region. Controllers will cover the entire A90 TRACON and all towered airports including:

KBOS – Boston Logan International (expect significant delays and heavy traffic)
KACK – Nantucket Memorial
KASH – Boire Field (Nashua)
KBED – Laurence G. Hanscom Field
KBVY – Beverly Regional
KFMH – Cape Cod Coast Guard Air Station (Falmouth)
KHYA – Cape Cod Gateway (Hyannis)
KLWM - Lawrence Municipal
KMHT – Manchester-Boston Regional
KOWD – Norwood Memorial
KPSM – Portsmouth International at Pease

Pilots are encouraged to consider satellite airports to avoid extended holds and delays into KBOS, while enjoying detailed approach and departure services.
