ZAU is seeking a Webmaster. 

Key Responsibilities:
- Reports to the Air Traffic Manager and Deputy Air Traffic Manager
- Develops, manages, and oversees Web Services, APIs, E-mail, and other systems
- Responds quickly to website and data system needs
- Develops policies and procedures for operation and maintenance of the ARTCC web and data systems
-  Forms, oversees, and manages the ZAU Web Team
- Other duties as assigned by the ATM or DATM
 
Basic Requirements:
-  Supports the Chicago ARTCC’s mission of “Creating professional controller’s, maintaining a high degree of integrity” while creating and maintaining an open and accepting community.
-  Serves as a leader to coach and motivate controllers while upholding a culture that builds exceptional internal and external pilot experiences.
- Supports and participates in initiatives that give back to the VATSIM community.
- Supports the recruitment, retention, and development of a diverse range of talented people.
- Strengthens others through consistent feedback while driving productivity and morale.
- Holds self and others accountable to high performance standards while providing pilots with memorable experiences.
- Partners in the development of strategy and helps to translate into specific priorities, objectives, and action plans.
- Attends periodic meetings to report on ARTCC activities.

Additional Requirements:
- Must have at least a Student 1 (S1) rating
- Must be an active member of the VATSIM network in good standing with no significant disciplinary history
- Must be proficient in modern web programming languages and techniques, including, HTML, MySQL, JavaScript, Rust, CSS, vue, GoLang.
- Must have excellent written and oral communication skills
- Must be able to work in a team environment
- Must display leadership qualities
- Must be available for regular correspondence (via the primary means of e-mail and discord), as well as routinely checking VATUSA forums and other outlets for official notices
- Be able to meet all activity requirements as outlined in ZAU Admin Policy and all sections thereof (as appropriate).

This position requires a significant commitment to ZAU and VATSIM. Roles and responsibilities may change as needed.

ZDC controllers are staffing up to help honor those brave men and women who have given their life in service to their country, as we approach the Memorial Day holiday.

Join us over the Midwestern cornfields for the virtual aviation extravaganza of the decade. Here in one of the busiest airspaces southern Wisconsin, there will be air traffic pandemonium. Hold on to your yoke as you take in the stunning views of Dubuque, Iowa and Janesville, Illinois. Can you handle thrilling rush hour traffic into Volk field? Come find out on Monday evening for the ultimate aviation experience.

All aircraft types and VFR are welcome. IFR to and from uncontrolled airfields are also welcome and encouraged. Special requests are also welcomed per controller workload.

Purpose:
The Salt Lake City ARTCC is looking for a motivated individual that possesses a high degree of energy and commitment to serve as the Training Administrator.

Key Responsibilities:
- Reports to and serves at the pleasure of the ATM and VATUSA3.
- Maintains an online presence within the facility and on the VATSIM network.
- Functions as a vZLC ARTCC senior staff member and attends meetings as necessary.
- Provides mentorship and guidance to vZLC home and visiting controllers.
- Manages and creates training materials for student use to provide a strong and habitual learning experience.
- Oversees the day-to-day operation of the training department.
- Other duties as assigned or delegated by the ATM.

Requirements:
- Must hold at least an Enroute Controller (C1) rating.
- Must be eligible to hold the Senior Instructor (I3) rating.
- Must be an active member of the VATSIM network in good standing.
- Must have a strong knowledge of the United States National Airspace System and Air Traffic Control systems.
- Must have real-world and/or VATSIM instruction experience.
- Must have excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Must be able to work in a team environment and manage a team of at least 3.

Preferred Skills:
- Leadership, managerial, or supervisory experience (real world or VATSIM applicable).
- Familiarity with Salt Lake City ARTCC policies and procedures.
- Demonstrate the qualities of understanding, patience, restraint, and professionalism.

The Houston ARTCC (ZHU) is seeking a qualified, professional, and motivated individual that possesses a high degree of energy and commitment to serve as the Deputy Air Traffic Manager. Applicants should note that this position requires a significant time commitment.

Key Responsibilities
•   Reports to the ATM
•   Front-Line Manager to the Facilities, Events, and Technical (Web) departments
•   Monitors the day-to-day activities of the ARTCC
•   Assists in the development and execution of ARTCC projects
•   Maintains an online presence on the VATSIM server
•   Functions as ARTCC senior staff member. Attends periodic meetings to report on ARTCC activities
•   Assists in coordination of position assignments and position restrictions when necessary
•   Assumes the duties of the ATM when he/she is unavailable
•   Any other duty assigned by the ATM

Minimum Requirements
•   Currently hold a rating of Controller (C1) or higher for at least 90 days prior to application date
•   Works well in a team-oriented environment
•   Demonstrates excellent leadership skills
•   Be an active member of the VATSIM network in good standing with no significant disciplinary history in the last 12 months
•   Strong knowledge of the U.S. Airspace and Air Traffic Control systems & procedures
•   Excellent written and oral communication skills

Preferred Qualifications
•   Previous or current ARTCC staff experience
•   Have held a rating of I1 for at least 90 days at any given time prior to application date
•   Supervisory or management experience in virtual or real world
•   Proven ability to lead a team of individuals through change to support overall ARTCC goals
